Each year, the thrill behind professional American football is increasing.
2006 Super Bowl Predictions
In the recent championship tournaments of professional American football, teams from the American Football Conference (AFC) have dominated the scene. There have been a lot of Super Bowl predictions which say that once again, franchises from AFC will have an eventful regular season. Many sports analysts have anticipated the Indianapolis Colts to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy this year. They say that Payton Manning is in for “revenge” as previously, his club was eliminated disappointing thousands of supporters. Well, the group also experienced internal dilemmas such as the farewell of Edgerin James.
However, even if Payton Manning together with the rest of the Indianapolis Colts will be back on field for “revenge” to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy, it will not be a piece of cake for them. Before proceeding with the National Football League (NFL), the team has to be declared the overall winner of the American Football Conference (AFC). In the AFC, there are a lot of promising franchises which are also hungry to qualify in the championship tournament. Super Bowl predictions say that the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers will individually work hard to excel in their respective divisions whom the Colts will face.
2007 Super Bowl Predictions
At last year’s championship tournament, the Indianapolis Colts faced the Chicago Bears. If you browse over Super Bowl predictions of 2006, you will learn that the Colts were expected to dominate the American Football Conference (AFC) which became true. As for the Bears, they were anticipated to win the National Football Conference (NFC) which came to life as well. This time around in AFC, the New England Patriots is envisioned to be declared as winners. The team is packed with talented athletes such as Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. In the Western Division, the San Diego Chargers are seen to defeat the other franchises.
Now in the National Football Conference (NFC), the Chicago Bears is still the bet of a lot of sports analysts. The greatest rival of the Green Bay Packers, the team has not dwindled in its performance on field especially with the return of the injured Rex Grossman. In the South Division, Super Bowl prediction reveals that the Carolina Panthers will defeat the New Orleans Saints. The game between the two teams is expected to be entirely exciting as hopefully, a wild card will be created. Going to the east, the Dallas Cowboys will have a strong line- up but the determination of the Philadelphia Eagles will become its struggle.
2008 Super Bowl Predictions
The New England Patriots are expected to dominate the American Football Conference (AFC) however, it will also be challenged by teams that may have been missed out in the spotlight. There is the Baltimore Ravens which almost made it but efforts were not enough to win. This year though, almost all of the team’s athletes are back to play which is a good sign. The franchise may have bid farewell to a key member but it also signed in Jamal Lewis and Willis McGahee. The San Diego Chargers are also anticipated to rise on the ranks but one factor that can possibly pull down is the lost of the previous coaching crew.
San Francisco 49ers’ still from the American Football Conference (AFC) is also expected to make it big in 2008. The team may have not appeared for a long time in the playoffs but who knows what battery is charged that will drive its athletes to emerge as winners. Their previous performances may have received a lot of criticisms from sports analysts such as being dubbed as “sleepers.” However, as they say, do not try to mess up with someone in a good slumber because you will not favor what you will get. The cliché may come true to this franchise so other clubs in AFC are advised to keep an eye on the 49ers.
So what team is your bet now for 2008?
